The ERC is engaged in research, education and outreach in the fields of Energy and Environment.  The perspective of the ERC is multi-disciplinary and oriented towards holistic, practical solutions to some of modern society’s most challening problems.  The Centre brings together over 100 researchers from across NUI Galway’s many disciplines, and multiple industrial partners, for effort-sharing and collaboration.  The annual ERC Energy Event, held each December, focuses on sharing our activities, generating new ideas, and forming new collaborative ventures.
